Meet red deer and cranes
Take a drive towards Stenvad at dusk, and you may be lucky enough to see large herds of red deer in the fields, or perhaps even cranes dancing in the evening sun. It is nature’s own theatre, with no ticket required.
Fossils and ancient history by the coast
At the Cliffs of Sangstrup and Karlby, you can find traces of a distant past. Fossils are hidden among the flint stones, and with a bit of luck, you may even find a fossilised sea urchin to take home as a souvenir.
Sunrise and sunset
Just outside the campsite, soft morning light and golden evenings await. Whether you are up early or out late, the play of colours over the sea is always worth experiencing.
