Activities on site
At Fjellerup Strands Camping and in the beautiful nature that surrounds us there are many opportunities to get active.
If you prefer ball games there are many possibilities – football, handball, etc. can be played both outdoors or indoors. It is possible to play badminton and volleyball inside as well as table tennis. Bats and balls can be borrowed in reception. Lots to do for those who don’t want to sit still!
Under the “half roof” there is a dart board. Darts can be borrowed from reception where we also have a petanque set available.
If you would like to try paddle boarding there are SUP board that can be rented on an hourly or daily basis.

Tennis
100m further up the road there is a tennis court provided by Fjellerup Community Council. This can be booked online here.
Minifgolf
There are two miniature golf courses next to the campsite where you can challenge each other’s golf skills – or luck!
Golf
There are three golf courses within 15 km.
Lubker was voted Denmark’s best golf course in 2022. Each green and hole is integrated completely into the surrounding nature and it is nature that provides the challenges for players making this a unique course. See link here.
NNorddjurs golf course is a 18 hole course built on a slightly hilly terrain. Some holes are sheltered by the woods while others are exposed to wind and weather. The wind can be a very active participant in your game! Se link here.
Djurs Golf Pay & Play is a 9 hole course where all players are welcome and no membership is required. See link here.
Hiking
The wonderful nature surrounding Fjellerup Strands Camping is perfect for walking along the coast or through the woods, or even a combination of both.
You may also want to consider Caminorddjurs which is a hiking rounte along the coast of Norddjurs and Randers Fjord. The Caminorddjurs goes from Allingaabro in the west and ends at Glatved Strand south of Grenaa. It is around 100km long.
Cycling
The area surrounding the camp site is perfect if you want to bring your mountain bike. You can cycle along the coast and through woods. We can highly recommend cycling through Mejlgaard woods. The reception has maps of various routes in the area for planning cycling trips.
